Several days ago, I read a great tutorial from one of my fellow bloggers and Etsy storeowner, Epheriell . It mentioned this great idea of using scrapbook paper for photos of your jewelry. What a great idea! Especially since there are so many amazing prints. I get overwhelmed when I even go down that isle. So, I cruised to Michaels today, not really a norm for me, but I had to try this. I took several pictures of items I already had and wow, what a difference. I noticed they were getting more hits not long after the photos where changed. I guess what they say is true, good pictures really help your store. There are several other great posts to read on there that are related as well.
Here are a few of my newer pictures. They still need some editing. I am still learning but they are better than what I had.

Best of luck finding the paper that works for you - and thank you!
ReplyDeleteJess :)
Those look great! You're really getting this straightened out to be really nice!
ReplyDeleteWow, that really is a great idea. Thanks for the post!
ReplyDeleteGreat idea! Thanks for passing that along. Your photos look really nice.
ReplyDeleteI love scrapbook paper and cruising the paper isle can be overwhelming sometimes - too many to select from ;) I think these look beautiful!
ReplyDeleteI've heard this idea and its great, but I do suggest using contrasting colos so that your jewelry doesn't blend in.
ReplyDeleteAlso the dollar store carries some great designs as well :)
What a great idea!
ReplyDeleteGood idea! There are soooo many papers to choose from. A lot of times they have a sale section where the paper is only 5 or 10 cents a sheet b/c maybe the corner is ruffled (which probably would not matter for your purpose).
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by my blog today and entering my giveaway. It was a great way to find YOUR blog!
What a cool idea! I'm still struggling trying to figure the whole picture thing out. Thanks for the tip.
